You are invisible to people already looking for you.
Someone in Lincoln needs what you sell. They search. They pick from what is on the first screen, and most never scroll further. If you are not there, the enquiry goes to a competitor who is — and you never find out it happened.
This is different from advertising. These are not people you interrupted — they already have the problem and are ready to act. Missing them is expensive in a way that is hard to see, because there is no invoice for the work you did not win.
- →A site that is slow, or hard for search engines to read
- →A Google Business Profile set up once and never touched
- →Pages on the same site competing for the same search term
- →Location pages that are one paragraph with the town swapped
- →Nobody watching any of it from one month to the next
Five things, done properly, in the order that matters.
Technical SEO
Search engines have to reach, read and understand your site before anything else matters. We audit what quietly stops that: page speed, mobile rendering, crawl errors, broken redirects, thin or duplicated pages, missing structured data, and pages competing with each other for the same search. That last one is more common than people expect — two pages targeting one term split the signal and both end up weaker than one strong page.
Local SEO and Google Business Profile
For most Lincolnshire businesses this is the highest-return work available, and the most neglected. Local SEO Lincolnshire firms actually benefit from is unglamorous: consistent name, address and phone number wherever you are listed, correct categories, defined service areas. Google Business Profile optimisation covers the profile itself — categories, services, photos, hours, questions and posts — plus the citations that corroborate it.
Content
Pages that answer what people actually type, written for the customer rather than the algorithm. Service pages that name the service plainly, location pages that are genuinely different from one another, and answers to the questions your customers ask before they buy. We would rather write six pages that each do a job than thirty that repeat each other.
AI visibility monitoring
People increasingly ask an AI assistant for a recommendation instead of searching. If someone asks for a supplier in your sector and your area, you are either named or you are not, and almost nobody is measuring which. We track whether AI assistants mention your business, and in what tone. This is new ground and we are honest about that — the practices are still forming. But it is measured, it is reported, and you will know where you stand rather than guessing.
Reporting
Every month you get the position of each tracked keyword and how it has moved, organic traffic separated from paid, email and social, the work completed, and what is planned next. If a number went down we say so, and explain what we are doing about it.
We built
the
platform.
Most agencies resell a Semrush dashboard.
You pay them to log into somebody else's tool and interpret it for you. We are a software company that also does SEO, so we built our own platform. It is called Vantage, and every client runs on it.
- 01Daily rank tracking with full position history for every keyword, so a change is something you can see rather than something we assert.
- 02Search Console and GA4 together, with organic traffic separated from paid, email and social. SEO gets judged on the line it is responsible for.
- 03AI visibility monitoring — whether AI assistants name your business, and in what tone. Most agencies do not measure this at all yet.
- 04Automated technical audits and cannibalisation scoring, so problems surface on a schedule rather than when somebody remembers to look.
When you ask why something moved, the answer comes from data we hold and tooling we control. You also deal with us directly — no account manager relaying questions to a technician you never meet. The result is an SEO service Lincoln and county businesses can actually get hold of. We are not a typical Lincolnshire SEO agency, and that is deliberate.
Four steps, and honest timescales.
- 01Free audit. You send the form below. Within two working days we come back with what is holding the site back, what the opportunity looks like, and whether we think we can help. If we cannot, we will say so.
- 02Plan and priorities. We agree the target terms and the order of work. Technical faults and Google Business Profile usually come first, because they are fastest to move.
- 03Delivery. Technical fixes, profile and citations, content — and you watch progress in Vantage rather than waiting for a monthly PDF.
- 04Review and adjust. Monthly reporting, then priorities change based on what the data shows rather than what the original plan assumed.
How long it takes
SEO takes months. Anyone promising first-page rankings in a fortnight is either misleading you or planning something that causes a problem later.
Realistically: technical fixes and Google Business Profile work can show movement in four to eight weeks, because they remove obstacles rather than build authority. Competitive terms take longer — six months is a fair horizon, and in a crowded sector it can be more. Local terms in one town move faster than county-wide or national ones.
SEO also cannot fix everything. It will not rescue a product nobody wants, it will not outrank a national chain on a generic national term on a small budget, and it does not work if the work stops after two months. It compounds, or it decays.
Monthly retainer, because SEO is ongoing work.
Search results move, competitors act, and a site left alone slips back. Retainers start from [PLACEHOLDER — insert starting-from monthly figure] per month. What you pay depends on how competitive your terms are and how much needs fixing before progress is possible, and we tell you which before you commit.
One-off project work — a technical audit and fix, or a Google Business Profile rebuild — is available where a retainer is not the right shape. The free audit tells us which you need.

Frequently asked questions.
How much does SEO cost in Lincolnshire?
We work on a monthly retainer. The variable is how competitive your search terms are and how much technical work is needed first. The free audit gives you a figure before you commit to anything.
How long does SEO take to work?
Technical fixes and Google Business Profile work can show movement in four to eight weeks. Competitive terms usually take around six months. Anyone promising first-page rankings in a fortnight is misleading you.
Do you only work with businesses in Lincoln?
No. We are based in Lincolnshire and work with businesses in Lincoln and across the county and surrounding area. SEO work does not require us to be in the room, though we are happy to meet if you would prefer.
What is included in the free SEO audit?
A review of your site's technical health, your Google Business Profile, the terms you currently rank for, and where the realistic opportunity is. You get it within two working days, and there is no obligation to buy anything.
Can you guarantee first place on Google?
No, and neither can anyone else. Nobody controls Google's rankings. What we can do is fix what is measurably holding you back, track every position daily, and show you the movement honestly.
Do I have to sign a long contract?
No. SEO needs months to compound, so we will tell you honestly if your expectations and your timescale do not match, but we do not lock people into long tie-ins to achieve it.
